About

Event Information

GenNow Network is a leadership group of New York City’s best and brightest emerging leaders dedicated to leading the world in the fight against cancer. After Dark is the ACS GenNow NYC Chapter’s Fall signature event, where young professionals come together to Party with a Purpose to raise funds for the annual operating cost of Hope Lodge NYC. The unique celebration invites the community to celebrate, remember, and fight back in an unforgettable way.

Our Mission

Mission Funding: Hope Lodge

American Cancer Society Hope Lodge® communities offer a home away from home for people facing cancer and their caregivers when cancer treatment is far away. Our 30+ Hope Lodge communities provide a free place to stay during treatment so people with cancer can focus on getting better. These communities provide comfortable guest suites with private baths, as well as inviting spaces with all the comforts of home, including a communal kitchen, dining area, laundry rooms, and places to gather or find a quiet respite – all at no cost to guests.

Hope Lodge guests don’t just find a place to stay – they find a community of support and an emotional connection with others facing the same journey.

Meet our Chapter

The American Cancer Society GenNow Network engages young professionals across the nation in the fight against cancer. These passionate individuals raise funds and awareness by leveraging their personal and professional networks, organizing mission-based activities, and fostering community partnerships.

The GenNow Network of New York City chapter brings together members of the community to support the American Cancer Society. Since 2017 we have continued to see growth in our impact and look forward to what is ahead for us.
